Snow day

So, we're cooped in the house today, and it's snowing outside. Here is how we keep ourselves busy.
*Sigh*







Our new favorites....the abc song on the fridge, and doing "circles".
This is a very mild version of "circles".....most often, she does them until she can't stand up straight.



Diesel and Macy are good friends.....he does tend to lick, and in this video, he wants to be the center of attention (which is very normal)

Another week....

With a new week brings new things. Bop and Da, this first picture is for you.....this is the outfit that you bought Macy for her birthday. It finally fits her, and is so cute.

My little ham


Macy has discovered her "knees" and wants to see them and point to them all the time....so it started as pulling her pant legs UP to show us.


Then she promptly walked into her room, and took her pants right off. She LOVES just running around in her diaper. Thankfully she hasn't learned to take that off yet......I'm sure that is coming.

Where does the time go?

WOW!! Today, my sweetness is 15 months old. I can't believe where the time has gone. She is truly so sweet and makes my day. Now that I have been working less, I get to spend so much more time with her. It is tiring at times, and there are moments that are trying, but how rewarding to be a mother. I am very blessed.

New things everyday

Macy looking like such a big girl, reading by herself. She loves to read with Kevin and I, but this time, she needing to do it herself. So independent. I wonder where she gets that??

This is a common occurrence, no matter how hard I try and stop it. Usually, though, the dog's tongue is out too.


They look like they belong together, don't they? I think they will be great buddies.

Winter

Oh, winter, how I will be glad when you are over. It has been really cold here for the last week. Below zero for 3-4 days in a row. (Although we aren't getting snow packed like some people, which I am thankful for). We've been staying at home mostly because it is so cold....too cold for Macy.
Macy continues to grow. She has 16 of her 20 baby teeth. So, only her 2 year molars to go.
She can say so many words now, and can actually say a few words together...."mama's cup" and "Diesel's bone". It's really cute.


On a cold day, Macy helped me make cupcakes.



Easy to entertain her: a wrapping paper tube, a bag of dog food, and a toothbrush. What more could you need?
