Lately....

Here are a few recent pictures of Macy. She loves to go up and down the stairs, and her new favorite thing is to open the cabinets and pull everything out. I have made a few cabinets of stuff she can have (her toys and tupperware), but of course, she still wants the "other" cabinets. Go figure. She seems to love walking. Now she chooses it over crawling. When she is just waking up or just about to go to bed at night, she seems to fall down alot and is a little out of it. It is kind of cute.
She has started giving "kisses", which is one of my new favorite things. If you say, "Macy, give me a kiss" and make a kiss noise, she leans in and with open mouth, and tongue out, gives you a kiss.
This morning, she walked right over to me, lifted her arms for me to pick her up, and leaned right in and opened her mouth for a kiss. Actually 3 kisses right in a row, and I didn't even have to prompt her. I LOVE IT! She is so precious.

On the Move

10 months and counting

Macy is walking like a pro. She definitely still falls down (as you can see by the bruise in the center of her forehead :( You can see in her eyes that she just wants to RUN towards things sometimes. I think before long she will be running.
She gets so excited with new toys (and old favorites too) and her face lights up when she sees someone she knows. How did I get blessed with such an amazing child?
She is so fun and her personality is developing. It's amazing to me that these last 10 months have gone by so quickly. It is a wonderful time in our lives....to watch her grow and thrive. And as much as I don't want her to grow up too quickly, I know it is inevitable and can't wait to see what she will do next.

Walking!!!!

So, Macy has taken her first steps. Of course she didn't like that I was taking her toy away in order to "bribe" her to walk, but we made it through.
She isn't consistent with it, but is so close to just walking everywhere!!!!
She was 9 1/2 months when she started and is just taking off.
